In addition to mountain, paved, and gravel cycling adventures in Cuyuna, our friends at Cykel (pronounced syɡ̊əl, it’s Swedish for cycle) now offer SUP rentals (stand up paddle board) or you can rent a kayak! Cykel is located at 324 Curtis Avenue in Ironton, just three blocks from the entrance to the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area—making it the ideal port of entry for your paddling sports.

Whether you choose Cykel’s SUP rental or prefer to rent a kayak, options include Grey Duck paddle boards and Brooklyn kayaks from 10–14 feet, plus tandem kayaks. They deliver and pick up within a 10-mile radius of their shop in Ironton.

There are a variety of paddle sport time slots available—from four hours to all day, an entire weekend, or by the week. Life jackets are furnished and pets are allowed on the SUPs and kayaks. Reservations can soon be made on their website or call for group-rate pricing.
