The Hudson is the definition of a ride-in/ride-out coffee shop. In the summer, you can actually ride your bike THROUGH the café. It’s also the closest known coffee shop to the mountain bike trails via a one-minute ride to the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail in Ironton.

The Hudson is a locally owned, full-service coffee shop serving up anything and everything brewed: a hot cup of plain joe, cold brew, espressos, Americanos, matcha, and an extensive list of specialty coffees. We recommend trying the Cortado, a smooth mix of espresso and steamed milk—delish. Other favorites of Cuyuna locals include the Cookie Batter Cold Brew, Bourbon Caramel Coffee, and Espresso Martini! Yes, that’s right, you can order boozy coffee here, too. The Hudson also serves specialty cocktails and rotating craft beers from Minnesota breweries.

And, each time you purchase a coffee at The Hudson, you’re giving back to pets in need. The Hudson proudly brews Grounds & Hounds Coffee, which donates 20% of all profits to help fund dog-rescue initiatives. Consider it coffee with a purpose.

Just looking for a place to kick back and stay a while? This is your place. Bring the whole family out back to enjoy a large lawn, lawn games, and bonfires all summer. You can also say inside, where there is plenty of space to gather with friends to play cards, cribbage, or a selection of board games. And, each month The Hudson hosts live music of varying styles including local Cuyuna musicians and visiting performers for your listening enjoyment (no cover!), as well as seasonal events such as their Fall Festival.
