Imagine driving to Cuyuna with the intent to camp, and all you need to do is get out of your car and boom—the tent is already set up. That’s now possible.

Get to know True North Basecamp’s Cabin Tents. Cabin Tents are large, heavy-duty cloth-covered tents that have a wood base, outdoor carpet, cots, an internal battery-operated lantern with a USB charger port, and a thick, cozy four-inch mattress for your overnight Cuyuna camping adventure.

The Cabin Tents also feature three zip-down windows to help air move through the tent, and the front door zips down to the ground, keeping those pesky mosquito-like creatures outside of your Cabin Tent haven.

Each Cabin Tent sleep two adults, additional cots with mattresses are available at $10/per night, per cot. A total of 4 cots fit well within one Cabin Tent. Dogs are allowed in the Cabin Tent for an additional $10 per night/per dog. There is a limit of two dogs with a maximum size of 40 pounds each.

Cabin Tent #7 is private and secluded. Cabin Tents #1 through #6 provide wooded privacy but are all placed within a shared community space. Each Cabin Tent also comes with a picnic table and fire ring for those must-do evening bonfires and food grilling sessions.

Want to set-up your own tent at True North Basecamp? You can. True North features 17 traditional tent campsites in addition to the Cabin Tents and internationally-recognized Camper Cabins.

Best yet, True North Basecamp also has an amazing bathroom/shower house with heated floors (especially nice in the colder months and winter). Vault toilets are also located throughout the property near the campsites.

Located ride-in, ride-out, and in the middle of the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails, True North is positioned incredibly well to give you the best of the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area trails and the village life of downtown Crosby, all while feeling like a remote wilderness retreat.
