CRMC got its start in the 1950s when the old Miner’s Hospital closed and 17 Cuyuna Range cities and townships joined together to build a new district hospital. Today, it’s one of the region’s premier health systems, as well as the second-largest employer in Crow Wing County—employing more than 1,000 doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, and support staff.

For more than five decades, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has provided high-quality, innovative healthcare for the communities in north-central Minnesota. Multiple Medical Campuses

Just minutes away from our tall green trees, clear blue lakes and red dirt trails is the CRMC main medical campus: a comprehensive physician clinic and a bustling, 25-bed critical access hospital that sees an average daily census of 18 patients, and approximately 2,200 inpatients, 150,000 outpatients, 10,000 ER visits, and about 260 births each year.

CRMC also manages three additional CRMC physician clinics (located in Baxter, Longville, and Breezy Point), in addition to a senior living community that includes a care center, assisted living, and memory care.
