Serpent Lake Century: A Scenic Ride for a Great Cause

Saturday, July 26, 2025 – 8:00 AM | Ironton, Minnesota

The 2nd Annual Serpent Lake Century rolls through Minnesota’s Iron Range with 100, 50, and 20-mile paved cycling routes—all part of the action at Ironton Fest. Ride as much (or as little) as you like on a scenic 10-mile loop surrounded by community support, food stops, and summer energy.

Choose Your Route:

100, 50, or 20 miles on a paved 10-mile loop
Rest stops every 5–10 miles with snacks and drinks
Route support and closed roads near the start/finish line

Whether you’re chasing your first century or just out for a mellow 20-miler, this is the perfect ride for all experience levels.

Registration Details:

  • Every cyclist must register individually
  • Adults (18+) must raise or donate $200 to participate
  • Youth (17 and under) may ride with a fundraising adult from the same household (registration fee still applies)

All registered riders receive:

  • Official Serpent Lake Century T-shirt
  • On-course support and signage
  • Access to all Ironton Fest fun—music, vendors, car show, and more

Why We Ride:

Proceeds from this event benefit the Ironton Volunteer Fire Department, helping purchase life-saving breathing equipment and contribute toward a new fire truck. These volunteer firefighters regularly respond to emergencies on the Cuyuna mountain bike trails—and this is our chance to give back.
