The Hudson is located just blocks away from the mountain bike trails in Ironton—on the site of a former Hudson dealership (hence the name)—and offers a full menu that looks, feels, and tastes of the Cuyuna region.
Drop in for a sandwich, wrap, charcuterie board, or light snack. You’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy on their lunch and dinner menu—your kids will, too! Folks around here rave about the Gravel Grinder—salami, ham, capicola provolone, pickles, and shaved romaine with signature champagne vinaigrette on sourdough. So tasty. (And we hear that there is a brand-new dinner menu in the works that will be completely different with even more fun and unique offerings.)
Nothing on the menu is fried, making it a great restaurant for healthy pre-ride fuel or after-ride recovery. The Hudson also serves up a delicious breakfast and a long list of specialty coffees (including cold brew and matcha, yes!). And everything is served with a smile by happy, hospitable locals who pull out all the stops to give you a great Cuyuna dining experience.
For beverages, the restaurant has domestic and Minnesota craft beers on tap, with a full bar coming soon. But The Hudson is really known for their specialty cocktails. Featuring unique flavors specifically crafted for The Hudson, their cocktail menu includes margaritas, mimosas, sangrias, and Hibiscus Rum Punch (a local favorite). Zero-proof mocktails such as the Strawberry Refresher and No-Jitos are available, too.
The restaurant space itself is open, bright, and welcoming—and you can rent it! If you’re in need of a special event space in Cuyuna, The Hudson has you covered—birthday parties, retirement celebrations, company holiday get-togethers—you name it, you can do it here. They’ve even hosted mountain bike skills classes and wine tastings. You can reserve the entire space and rearrange seating to fit your needs—everything is moveable and changeable and they go all-out to ensure your event is the best it can be. Oh, and they cater too! (Ask about their drool-worthy tater tot bar.) Check out their website to learn more about hosting an event at The Hudson.
The patio outside features a spacious lawn, plenty of chairs, bonfires, and lawn games—the perfect spot to enjoy a cold beverage with friends on a Cuyuna summer night. It’s a place where both residents and visitors can come together as a community for fellowship and food, creating memories and moments.
