I Can Mountain Bike!


Summer 2024 | Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area

Adults and children ages 10+ can learn mountain biking basics at the Minnesota Department of Resources “I Can Mountain Bike!” skills clinic. The clinic is held at the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area and is led by local trail volunteers of the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew, a chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association.

The 2.5-hour clinic features mountain bike safety, basic maintenance, beginner bike skills, and a short trail ride. No mountain bike experience is required..

• $35 adult, $20 youth (ages 10-18)
• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• One-day vehicle permits ($7 value) are included with all I Can Mountain Bike! programs where a permit is required.

Location

Meet at Miner’s Mountain Rally Center (17934 Co Rd 30 Ironton, MN 56455) in the pavilion (covered picnic area). Vehicle permits are required to park within the rec area.
