The Complete Yawkey Unit of Trails is Cuyuna’s best possible fat biking experience (it’s also the first, and best groomed, unit of trails in the CCSRA). Advanced riders will appreciate 9.6-miles of varying terrain and technical features, including huge climbs, fast descents, rock features, and narrow trails, and a terrain park experience with lots of jumps.

Done with Yawkey and looking for more? Choose your own fat bike adventure: there are 20 additional miles of trails for you to explore!

Know before you go:

  • A minimum of 3.7” tires are required for use on the groomed singletrack
  • The Minnesota DNR prohibits biking on the snowmobile trail within the CCSRA from December 1 to April 1
  • Dogs are not allowed on groomed trails
  • Review important CCRSA rules and information
  • Follow IMBA Winter Fat Biking Guidelines & Best Practices

Trail entry point:
Croft Mine Historical Park parking lot
2nd Ave NE & 8th St NE, Crosby, MN 56441

Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is not only allowed, but encouraged on the singletrack as it helps groom the trails. (See our Beginner, Intermediate, Intermediate+, and Advanced routes for some ideas for your Cuyuna snowshoe adventure or explore on your own!)
