Nationally recognized Chef Yia Vang recently stopped by True North Basecamp to cook a Cuyuna-caught rainbow trout campfire dinner. His visit was part of Explore Minnesota’s Culinary Campfire series, where Yia prepares simple-yet-delicious dishes outdoors across the state.
Advanced and expert mountain bike riders now have 10 miles of new trails to ride at the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area (CCSRA) North Mahnomen Unit starting Saturday, July 3, 2021. Located on the northern edge of the CCSRA, the North Mahnomen Unit expansion features four new trails ranging in skill level from More Difficult to Experts Only.
