Relax, unwind, and disconnect at your secluded Cuyuna cabin—Cuyuna Matata. Private and peaceful, this newly constructed nature cabin is tucked away on 8.5 wooded acres in Crosby. The property also overlooks the Pine River—perfect for paddling your kayak, canoe, paddleboard. (You can even connect to the Mississippi River State Water Trail.)
Here, you can get away from it all without getting too far away. Downtown restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are just a 10-minute drive, as is access to the mountain bike trails at the Miner’s Mountain Rally Center in the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area.
Inside this Scandinavian minimalistic-themed cabin, you’ll find a full kitchen, two bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, and a wood stove/fireplace (wood included). You won’t find a TV here, but if you’re looking for a place to work in the woods, Cuyuna Matata has a designated work space and Starlink high-speed broadband internet. Pets are also welcome (up to two pets, 50 pounds or less, and they must be crated while you’re away).
Scandinavian theming continues outdoors, where you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna experience—a great place to relax after a day riding the mountain bike trails or paddling the river. The spacious backyard also features a patio and BBQ for grilling and gathering during your stay.
